Obituary for James Bruce Swing
James Bruce Swing, 62, of Winchester, VA passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the Adler Center for Caring Inpatient Care Center in Aldie, VA.
Mr. Swing was born June 9, 1954 in Winchester; the son of James Andrew Swing and Kathleen Snapp Swing. He was a 1972 graduate of James Wood High School and attended Lord Fairfax Community College. He was an orchardist with his father, James Swing, and Uncle, Garland Snapp, both preceded him in death.
He is survived by Alexis F. Swing and his daughters Emily Kaye Swing, of Hillsborough, NC and Heather Elaine Swing, of Winchester.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hebron Cemetery with Pastor Richard McDowell and Pastor Aaron Fitch officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Carol Swanson, 249 Dower Lane, Strasburg, VA 22657.
