Obituary for Robert John Stegeman
Robert John Stegemann left our world to be with our Lord on May 22nd, 2017 in Winchester. obert was born in Chicago Illinois on January 27th, 1932 to Florence M Stegemann and John C Stegemann.
Robert enjoyed many hobbies including being a motorcycle enthusiast enjoying the open roads on his Harley Davidson as well as his love for racing motocross, and his many talents for playing various musical instruments. Robert was a band director in Chicago for 20 years, he also served as a substitute teacher for the Eastern Panhandle School District including Musselman High School in Bunker hill, WV and James Wood High in Winchester, VA. He studies Music at the Conservatory of Music in Chicago Illinois and obtained his Master’s Degree in Mathematics at Shepherd College.
Robert is survived by his daughters Barbara and Allen Zemaitis, Diane and Chuck Scro, Annette Hetterman, Sherri and Dave Kaske. His Grandchildren Andrea, Jessica, Christine, Kimberly, Roger, and Danielle. His Great Grandchildren Laiken, Zoey, Lucas, and Loralye.
Private services will be held at a later date.
