Louise C.  Branner
Louise Caroline Branner, 99, formerly of Winchester, VA passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at The Culpeper Retirement Community in Culpeper, VA.
She was born in Frederick County, VA; the daughter of I. Ashby and Ada Whisson Graves. She was a member of Market Street Methodist Church, past member of the Women’s Civic League, Women of the Moose Chapter #1283 and the Elk’s Doe Club #867.
Louise married George William Branner in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Surviving her are a son, Lanny Lee Branner (Sara) of Fredericksburg, VA; grandsons, Kevin Branner (Lawrie) of Winchester and Keith Branner (Susan) of Spotsylvania, VA and four great grandchildren, Zachary Branner, William Branner, Abby Branner and Benjamin Branner.
Her sisters, Alma Wenzel and Thelma H. Stultz preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Keiko Foster officiating.
