Obituary for Paul Leroy Kidwell Jr.
Paul L. Kidwell, Jr., 89, of Winchester, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center
Mr. Kidwell was born September 16, 1928 in Slanesville, WV; the son of Paul Leroy Kidwell, Sr. and Gertrude Shanholtz Kidwell. He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School Class of 1947. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant from 1948 – 1952. He was a professional truck driver for Smith’s Transfer. He was a member of grace Evangelical Lutheran Church and a retired Teamster.
He was married to Linda Jean McBride.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kelley Kidwell Wonsetler and her husband James of Winchester, and one grandson, Joseph Paul Wonsetler of Winchester. He was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Roscoe “Bill” Kidwell.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Kreiensieck officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
