Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harold Cooper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Judy and Brawner Cates
Condolence: I have vivid memories of going to visit one of my mother's best friends, Reba. It was always a treat when mother said we were going to your house. You were both so much fun and always had a wonderful cake to share. I remember also that you had Diane and I over for a sleepover...our first one ever. Harold would show us around the barn and was so kind and you would feed us all sorts of goodies.
Harold always had such a twinkle in his eye and many wonderful laugh lines. He was a great guy and will be remembered always.
Love to you and your family.

Condolence: Harold Cooper was the personification of goodness, giving, and kindness. He was a quiet hero, helping us and all his neighbors with grace and skill. He knew how to do just about everything, but was never condescending. He was thoughtful, humble and caring, and welcomed everyone who moved to Stonebrook. Richard and Katie, I'm sure you have become the people your grandfather would admire, and I know he was so very proud of you both. Sending love and prayers to you and your families.

Condolence: As a proud Virginian, I often reflect back on my time in the Valley, specifically Winchester. In 1977, I had the privilege of working for Mr. Cooper grading and seeding lawns in Stonebrook. I learned more in those few summer months than many take years to learn. Mr. Cooper was an admirable man, with a solid work ethic and a kind, gentle spirit. Unfortunately, I never saw much of Mr. Cooper after that summer job, but his memory is with me today as I approach my 55th. May the Lord bless Mr. Cooper and receive him unto the Kingdom while the Holy Spirit provides peace and comfort to his family during this difficult time.

Condolence: To Reba, Richard and Katie
We remember moving to Stonebrook in 1979 and were "blessed" to find ourselves neighbors of "the Coopers." Reba and Harold became "family" to us and our children. Harold "built" our first deck at our back door and was the "chief advisor" on many projects. Harold and Reba were examples of selfless giving. Harold didn't say much but we loved that smile that was worth thousands of words. We know he will be missed by many. Our prayers and love are with you at this sad time. We know your cherished memories with this special man will be in your hearts always and may they help sustain you.

Condolence: Reba and Family ....
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. My first recollection of Harold was in October 1981 when we moved into Stonebrook. The moving van was trying to back our long driveway ..... there was Harold standing on our back deck giving them directions. I thought .... who is this guy ? I learned it was Harold and he owned the orchard. He was the good neighbor.
Again our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Condolence: Gubby you have been the most wonderful person I have ever known. You never judged me always tried to support me and helped me so much through out the last 34 years. You were always the BEST husband, father, grandfather and friend. I was so blessed the day I met you and Grandma. I will always here your words you use to say to me, "well will you do it for me"... I could never say no. You have been the best role model and Richard is so very much like you. we are never prepared to lose those that we love most and losing you leaves such a big void in the lives of all that you had such an impact on. I will never forget you or all the beautiful days we shared. I love u Gubbs and we will all be together someday.

Condolence From: Richard Cooper
Condolence:

Where do I begin? The man holds every reason for me being who I am today. I have the biggest void in my heart with you not with us. I always enjoyed taking you to your Dr’s appointments and then taking you to Papermill Place afterwards. You were always there for me whenever I needed anything. Life will never be the same without you. We all miss you especially your girls. They have asked about you every day. I will take of your sweetie.

All of our love,

Richard, Victoria, Aleeya and Adallen
