Obituary for Elaine Hicks Gilkey
Elaine Hicks Chamberlin Gilkey, 94, of Winchester, died Thursday, December 27, 2018.
Mrs. Gilkey was born June 5, 1924 in Frederick County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Shirley K. Hicks and Lottie Grove Hicks. She was office manager for over fifty-three years for the Charles A. Pine automobile and real estate business. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She married Arthur W. Gilkey on April 23, 1966 in Winchester. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2000.
Surviving is her son, M. Bruce Chamberlin of Frederick County; grandson, Thomas E. Chamberlin and wife, Susan, two great-grandchildren, Thomas P. Chamberlin and Kathryn N. Chamberlin all of Richmond, VA; and her beloved cat, Charlie.
Services will be private.
