Daniel Jones is a great grandson of the founder of Jones Funeral Home. He and his brother, Darrin, represent the fourth generation of the Jones family to serve our community. Daniel is a licensed Funeral Director and serves as our Vice President of Operations. He is a graduate of John Handley High School, of the University of Virginia at Wise, and of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Daniel is a member of Braddock Street United Methodist Church. He is an assistant football coach at Handley High School, Co-Director of the Apple Blossom Pro Am Golf Tournament, a member of Winchester Moose Lodge No. 1283, and is and has been actively involved with several civic and charitable organizations and Boards. He enjoys playing golf and is a fan of most all sports, especially football, baseball and NASCAR. Daniel, his wife Karen, who is a teacher for Frederick County, and their daughters, Peyton and Kadan, live in Winchester. Daniel also has a son, Nicholas, who lives in Jonesville, Virginia.

Darrin Jones is a great grandson of the founder of Jones Funeral Home. He and his brother, Daniel, represent the fourth generation of the Jones family to serve our community. Darrin is a licensed Funeral Director and serves as our Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining our staff, Darrin, who is a Certified Public Accountant, was the Financial Reporting Manager for Sterile Concepts, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia, and a Public Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of John Handley High School, the University of Virginia, and of John Tyler Community College's Funeral Service Program. Darrin is a member of the Board of Directors and a Vice President of Winchester Host Lions Club, a member and Master of Treadwell Lodge No. 213 AF& AM in White Post, VA, is active in the Chamber of Commerce, as well as several other civic and charitable organizations and Boards. He and his wife, Michelle, who is a local attorney, live in Clarke County with their daughter Taylor Gray, two horses, Tira Misu and Stuart Little, their dog, Lucy, and three barn cats.

Marlene Davis is one of our licensed Funeral Directors and has been with us since July of 1995. She was born and raised in Winchester, Virginia. She is a graduate of John Handley High School and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marlene is a member of Calvary Church of the Brethren and serves as an organist and choir member for the church. She enjoys music, crafts and travel. She, her husband Tom, and their daughter, Katie, live in Bunker Hill, West Virginia with their two labrador retrievers, Mocha and Molly, and a cat, Madison.

R.A. “Pete” Ellinger is a licensed Funeral Director and Manager of our Pre-need Funeral Program. He has been with us since February of 1999, but has been a Funeral Director since 1965. Pete was born, raised, and lives in Front Royal, Virginia. He is a graduate of Warren County High School and Echols College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a licensed life and health insurance agent in the state of Virginia. Pete is a member of 1st Baptist Church of Front Royal, the Izaak Walton League of America, and is a Trustee for Prospect Hill Cemetery Association. He is also a certified FEMA Disaster Coordinator and a certified Eye Enucleation Technician. He enjoys golf, watching sports, and was formerly active in scouting.

Robertson is a great great grandson of the founder of Jones Funeral Home.  Josh is studying for his apprenticeship.  He is a graduate of Lord Fairfax Community College.  He enjoys snowboarding and golf.  He and his wife Tamra, who is a hairstylist,  along with their two daughters, Kyah and Meah, live in Stephens City.
