Typically not seen during the funeral, their presence behind the scenes is nonetheless critical to the day-to-day operation of our facilities.  Our support staff plays an important role in ensuring our high standard of service.  We are proud of their dedication and commitment.

Sherry Beachy is our Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant and has been with us since March of 2002. She was born in Buffalo, New York, and came to Winchester from Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 1998. She is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg where she received a BA in Liberal Arts. Sherry is a member of Crossroads Community Church and serves as a worship team member, running sound and occasionally singing vocals.  She enjoys gardening and reading historical novels. Sherry is single and lives in Winchester with her three cats, Zack, Saddle and Sable.

Kathleen Jenkins is one of our Evening Receptionists. She has been with us since February of 1996. Kathleen retired from Crown, Cork and Seal after 36 years in their Department. She is a member of the Winchester Church of God. She enjoys bowling and gardening. Kathleen lives in Frederick County with her husband, Oscar, who is a retired. They have four grown children.

Elizabeth is one of our Evening Receptionists. She has been with us since December of 2006. Elizabeth retired from C & P telephone Company in 1977 after 30 years of service. She is a member of the Montague United Methodist Church.  She enjoys Crafts and gardening. Elizabeth lives in Winchester. She has one grown son.

Louise Cheely is one of our Administrative Assistants. She has been with us since September 2007. Louise worked for F&M Bank and BB&T for 32 years. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoys reading and the outdoors. Louise lives in Winchester with her lab, Alex and cat Tessie.

Roger Miller is our Custodial Technician. He has been with us since February of 2006. He is a member of the Winchester Church of God, the director of the Fantasy System Beauty Pageants, Vice President of the Round Hill Ruritan Club, on the Board of Directors of the Association for Retarded Citizens of Northern Virginia, and enjoys bingo and spending time with his grandchildren. Roger lives in Frederick County with his wife, Lorraine. They have two grown children.
