Obituary for Beverly Kaye Nuri

Beverly Kaye Nuri, 71, of Stephens City, VA passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Beverly was born on October 29, 1943; the daughter of the late Weldon L. and Hazel Lee Smith Holsinger. She was employed as a docent and manager of the Stonewall Jackson Headquarters and was a member of the Winchester Historical Society. She was also a member of Ridings Chapel United Methodist Church where she sang and directed the choir.
On December 30, 1962 she married Ismet F. Nuri at the First Brethren Church in Winchester.
Along with her husband, Ismet, Beverly is survived by her children, Todd F. Nuri and wife, Patricia of Middletown, VA, Melanie F. Laster and husband, Paul of Woodbridge, VA, Noel A. Sciegaj and husband, Matthew of Stephens City and Bryan L. “Lyn” Nuri of Stephens City; grandchildren, Todd F. Nuri, II, Angela Headley, Jenifer Sampson, Adrienne Laster, Kelsey Laster and Phoenix Riner; great grandchildren, Lexi Headley and Zoey Headley; step sister, Audrey Higgs of Ocala, FL; aunt, Ruby Goodman of Winchester and first cousin, Barbara Harvey of Broadway, VA.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Ridings Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. John Conner and Rev. Linda Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be members of Ridings Chapel United Methodist Church and members of Salem Church of the Brethren.
