Matthew Bryan Ridge, age 31, passed away suddenly Monday December 5 2016 in Edgewater BC, Canada.

He had been living in Radium Hot Springs for 6 years working for his Dad. He enjoyed hunting, camping, riding his “girlie” scooter, 78 sporty with his best friend Marc, but most of all he enjoyed his boys and missed the ones here in VA deeply.

He was born in Duncan, BC Canada on November 18 1985 to Beverly Campbell and David Ridge.

He is survived by his Mom and Stepdad, Beverly and Phil Mackey; sisters Melissa (Alex) Shaw, Robyn Gunton and Kate Mackey; his father and Stepmom, David and Genevieve Ridge; brothers, Christopher and Michael.
Matt was a loving Daddy to Kaidyn age 12(Mom Tara), Drevyn age 6 (Mom Ashley), Saxyn age 3, Matyx age 9 months (Mom Jillian).
He is also survived by his grandparents: Joanne and Don Jenner, John Campbell, Jean and Harold Brooks, John and Mary Anne Mackey; and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins both in Canada and US.

A special Thank you to Marc and Siobhan Robinson for caring, loving and helping Matt and his family.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
