James “Buddy” Cooley, 83, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care, Winchester, VA.
He was born November 17, 1933, in Stephens City, the son of Amil and Rosa Drummond Cooley.
Buddy is survived by three sisters, Carrie Ritter, Glenna Newlin and Shirley Clark.
Two sisters preceded him in death, Helen Morris and Evelyn Carver, and several nephews.
He was a member of Stephens City Church of the Brethren and served two years active duty in the U.S. Army.
Our beloved brother will be sadly missed.
Friends may call at the Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday August 6, 2017.
Burial will be private.
