Lynette Swain Teets went to be with our Lord March 13, 2018 at Heritage Hall nursing home in Front Royal, VA.

Mrs. Teets was born April 28, 1928; the daughter of John W. and Leone Alexander Swain in Washington County, North Carolina.

Lynette married Leland C. Teets on February 10, 1947 in Stephens City, VA. They recently celebrated their 71st anniversary.

Surviving with her husband Leland are son, Kevin C. Teets; daughter, Jocelyn T. Grello and husband Mark A. “Tony” Grello of White Post, VA & Beltsville, MD; and son, Daniel L. Teets and wife, Gracin C. Teets of Macon, GA; a sister, Mary Leone Asbell of Roper, NC; a brother, Kenneth B. Swain of Stephens City, VA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Two brothers, June Swain and Dale V. Swain, Sr., and one sister, Aprile S. Hepner are deceased.

The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home, Stephens City, VA on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p. m.

A funeral will be held at Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church of Stephens City, VA on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gene Jones officiating. Interment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Bret Swain, Bryan Swain, Jacob A. Masemer, Dale V. Swain, Jr., Lucas Thompson and Linwood Williams.
