Dolores Ann Smith, 79, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia formerly of Winchester, Virginia died Monday, December 13, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Smith was born December 12, 1932 in Strasburg, VA; the daughter of Ezra and Anna Walters Henry. She worked for the Acme Company as a clerk until her retirement.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs and she was also a member of the Winchester Women’s Bowling League.

She married Carroll D. Smith on June 14, 1952 at the Refuge United Methodist Church in Frederick County.

In addition to her husband, Carroll, of Berkeley Springs, she is survived by her daughter, Debra Byrd of Berkeley Springs; her granddaughter, Sarah Byrd Stotler of Berkeley Springs; her sister, Judy Jennings of Front Royal, VA; her brother, David Henry of Waynesboro, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Her brother, Fred Henry preceded her in death.

A funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 1:00 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester with Pastor Andrew Conney and Pastor Rob officiating. Burial will follow in Refuge United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Henry, Jr., Steven Henry, John Mongold, John Frederick Mongold, Joseph Arnold and Jim Carroccio.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12-1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 141 Business Park Circle, Berkeley Springs, WV, to the First United Methodist Church, 110 Green Street, Berkeley Springs, WV or to the Morgan County Senior Center, 404 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, WV.
