Obituary for David Henry Dabay

David H. Dabay, 84, of Winchester, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Blue Ridge Hospice In-Patient Care Center.
Mr. Dabay was born on December 4, 1931 in New Brunswick, Canada; the son of Archie Deabay and Millie Clevette Deabay. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired in 1994 as an electrician with Howard P. Foley Co. He was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, VFW, and American Legion.
He married M. Mae Butler on September 14, 2002 in Winchester.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, David M. Dabay of Woodford, VA, William P. Dabay of Silver Spring, MD, Joseph A. Dabay of Windmill Gap, WV, and Thomas A. Dabay of Cheverly, MD; step children, Deborah J. Butler Coulson and husband, Dean of Stephens City, Mark G. Butler and wife, Cathy of Boyce, VA, and Michael A. Butler of Stephens City, VA; a sister, Isabell Howard of Mineral, VA; two grandchildren, Thomas Dabay and Rachel Dabay; four step grandchildren, Misty Loy, Amanda Loy, Erin Butler and Abby Butler; and one great grandchild, Bryce Edwards. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Cecila Morse and Freda Auellette; and one brother, Omar Dabay.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Mayton officiating.
