Obituary for Alice Faye Fox
Alice Faye Fox (Harper), 75 of Alexandria, Virginia passed away peacefully while surrounded by both of her loving daughters at Fox Trail Assisted Living in Stephens City, Virginia on Friday, August 14, 2020. She was born December 1944 in Alexandria, Virginia to John C. Harper and Marjorie E. Harper who proceeded her in death.
Faye was proud to drive a school bus for Fairfax County Public Schools for 44 years. She enjoyed going to thrift stores, watching the Hallmark Channel, listening to Queen and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Accotink United Methodist Church, Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Faye joins her beloved youngest daughter, Lori Hickman, in Heaven. She is survived by her sister Marjorie Simms, her daughters Tammy Fox and Pamela Brill, her son-in-law Wes Brill, her grandchildren Meagan Lohin and husband Dan Lohin, Taylor DeFrees, Jessica Hickman, Benjamin Brill, and her two great grandchildren Zach and Andy Lohin.
A private memorial service will be held and a graveside service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the www.theellacrisfoundation.org. The EllaCris Womens Foundation was established to create public awareness and to promote early detection of ovarian cancer.
