Brenda Kay Powell, 72, of Winchester, VA, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at Consulate Care Woodstock.
Brenda was born January 25, 1951 in Woodstock, VA, the daughter of the late William Mason Hoffmaster and Dorothy Racey Hoffmaster. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Miller; a very special son-in-law, Skooter Miller; grandchildren, Brittany Carter (John), Chevy Youngblood, Richard Miller; nine great grandchildren, special nurse Robin Davis; brothers, Samuel Hoffmaster, James Hoffmaster as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarke “Jack” Powell; and daughters, Tanya Powell and Melinda Powell.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 24, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Burial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to Jones Funeral Home to lessen the burden of Mrs. Powell’s family. 228 S Pleasant Valley Road Winchester, VA, 22601.
