Charles Harry “Chuck” Nickles Jr., 65, of Winchester, VA, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Winchester Medical Center.
Chuck was born July 27, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Charles Sr. and Margaret “Marge” Myers Nickles. Before moving to Winchester, Chuck was a volunteer firefighter in Baltimore. He was a sales representative for Culligan waters. He enjoyed hunting, spending time at the Winchester Speedway, and being a VIP with the Winchester Police Dept. He was a member of Welltown United Methodist Church. He married Kathleen Hawkins-Nickles on June 22, 2013.
Along with his mother, Marge, Chuck is survived by his wife; Kathleen of Winchester, his children; Charles “Chip” Nickles (Lauren) and Amy C. DePasquale (Dom) both of MD, Ashley K. Shifflett and Andrew Keeley both of Winchester, grandchildren; Vivian, Luca, and Mia, 2 sisters; Gail and Suzie, his close friends; Belinda and Billy Poston and family, his best friend and hunting buddy; Jason Richardson, and his loving dog; Luke.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father; Charles H. Nickles Sr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be placed in Chuck’s name to the Shenandoah Oncology Treatment Center at 400 Campus Blvd. Suite 100 Winchester, VA 22601.
