Obituary for Christopher Fred "Chris" Goad Jr.
Christopher Fred Goad, Jr. “Chris”, 40, of Capon Bridge, WV, went to be with his Lord and Savior, March 4, 2020.
He was born September 13, 1979, in Richmond, VA, the son of Christopher Goad, Sr. and Eva Miles Brown. Chris was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
He married Carrie Beth Evans Goad, August 26, 2002 in Richmond, VA.
Along with his wife he is survived by his daughters, Virginia Goad, Anna Goad, Cailin Goad, Olivia Goad, Julia-Ann Goad, Christy Goad, and Heidi Goad; sons, Lucas Goad and Avery Goad; brothers, Joseph Goad and Carroll Brown and sisters, Jennifer McClenny and Lori Morse.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Miles Brown.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 pm with a Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church March 9, 2020 with Father Bjorn C. Lundberg officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Goad family, C/O Jones Funeral Home, 228 S. Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601.
