Obituary for David L. Delones
David L. DeLones of Lake Frederick, Virginia, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2019. He is survived by his wife Elaine DeLones and his children Louis Mauro of Ashburn, Va., Dean (Lynda) Mauro of Crystal Lake, IL., Faith (Mike) Brunelle of Front Royal,Va., and Joy DeLones of Winchester, Va.. He leaves grandchildren Kaitlyn Mauro, Raymond Ingram, Joshua Dingler, Jennifer Mauro, Ashleigh Mauro, Adena Ingram, Lauren Dingler, Nathan Ingram, and Ethanael Mauro.
David was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland and grew up in Maryland and Miami, Florida. He attended Towson State University, Florida State University, and was a veteran serving in the US Air Force and Reserves before & during the Vietnam conflict. He was a consummate sales professional throughout his life dealing in chemicals, boating, automobiles, and logistics. David was devoutly dedicated to Christian evangelical ministries serving as an elder and witness to his faith. His outreach included Delaware and Virginia church communities in local mission and extending as far as Russia. Memorial service for David DeLones will be held in private with his family.
