Floyd D. Davis, 76, of Winchester, died Monday, December 27, 2021.
Mr. Davis was born on January 24, 1945 in Charlottesville, VA; the son of the late Floyd D. Davis and Minnie Harris Davis
His family eventually moved to Alexandria, VA where he lived until his marriage. He and his wife moved to Fairfax County and Vienna. He worked and retired from the Westgroup Corporation. After retirement he and his wife moved to Winchester, VA.
He is survived by his wife Janet Disse Davis of Winchester, a daughter, Kim Davis Tirona; a son, Eugene Delmar Davis; a brother, Raymond Harris; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Delmar Davis; and a granddaughter, Jeanette Rose Davis.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Gene Davis officiating. Burial will be Monday at 2:00 pm at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
