Obituary for Kenneth Ray "KC" Carter
Kenneth Ray “KC” Carter, 74, of Bunker Hill, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2020.
KC was born on January 7, 1946 to Upton and Reva Clem Carter. He was a veteran of the armed services and a retired firefighter.
He enjoyed watching westerns, listening to music, playing horseshoes, and spending time with his family and friends.
KC is survived by his wife, Wanda G. Carter, three daughters, Anne Marie Rutledge, Kimberly Carter, and Kristin Hypes, one son, Casey Carter, one stepdaughter, Angela Young, and one stepson, Allen Bowen; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister, Wanda King and husband, Porter; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Upton “Sonny” Carter, and one sister, Joan Whitener.
