Obituary for Lee Roy Robertson
Lee Roy Robertson, 66, of Winchester, VA, died Sunday, November 13, 2022 at his home.
Lee was born November 27, 1955 in Cumberland, MD; son of the late Leroy and Janice Neil Robertson. He spent most of his life as a general contractor helping many people and recently worked at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. When not working, Lee loved spending time at the river and being with his family. He never met a stranger.
He married LeeAnne Hipp Robertson, July 20, 1990 in Winchester, VA.
Along with his wife he is survived by his children, Shane Robertson of Oregon, Shannon Robertson of Texas, Amanda and Eric Llewellyn of Cumberland, Tara and Denny Hott of Winchester and Krista Twigg of Cumberland; brother, Steve and Edna Robertson of Cumberland; sister Kelly and Mike Spangler of Cumberland; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother Brad Robertson and one grandson, Tyler Robertson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Lee may be made to Disabled American Veterans, (DAV), at www.dav.org or the SPCA of Winchester/Frederick and Clarke Counties, 111 Featherbed Lane, Winchester, VA 22601.
A private service will be held at a later date.
