Obituary for Luella Esta Cain (McBride)
Luella E. Cain, 95, of Winchester, VA, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022 at Winchester Medical Center.
Luella was born April 26, 1927 in Hampshire County, Hoy WV, the Daughter of the late David L and Gladys Godlove McBride. She married Norman B. Cain of Winchester on August 25, 1945. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church. She retired from National Fruit Company. She enjoyed gardening in her younger years.
She is survived by her son, Larry D. Cain (Brenda) of Clear Brook, VA; grandson, Larry D Cain II (Stacie Bayliss) of Frederick County, VA; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Cain (Cori) of Strasburg, VA, Morgan N. Cain of Winchester, Emily G Cain of Winchester, Eric D. Cain of Winchester; sisters, F Jane Cave, Linda J Kidwell; and brother, Fred A McBride.
Along with her husband, Norman B Cain, Luella was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary M Whitlock, Arvella L Coffelt, Irma L Luttrell; and brothers, Ray A McBride, Roger L McBride.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 9, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Shenandoah Memorial Park following the service.
