Obituary for Ruby Lorraine Lease (Emerson)
Ruby Lorraine Lease, 77, of Augusta, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital.
Ruby was born April 9, 1946 in Winchester, VA, a daughter of the late Graves and Beulah Catlett Emerson. She married the love of her life, Robert D. Lease Sr. June 5, 1967. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her husband of over 55 years, Robert, Ruby is survived by her children, Carolyn L. McGuigan (Louis), Robert D. Lease Jr. (Mickie), David A. Lease (Brenda) ; twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Caroll “Pancake” Emerson, Graves M. Emerson, Lewis A. Emerson, Steven Emerson; and sister, Phyllis Smith.
A graveside service will take place Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Winchester.
