The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harold Haas can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Barbara Pearson
Condolence: Bud was such a great guy who never knew a stranger or enemy. The students at Quarles liked to come to the library to talk with him and he was always encouraging to them. The staff was fond of him as well.

Condolence: Dearest Connie,
Ellen Martin sent me a message this morning to check Winchester Star for the Obit on Bud. Mel and I were just in Winchester and left yesterday morning early to return to South Carolina.

Bud was an outstanding guy. I have many fond memories of our working together at Quarles Elementary School. I could always depend on him to be supportive. I especially remember him and John Rodriguez dancing at my retirement party.

May God bless your family this week as you celebrate Bud's life. We will be back in Winchester in June for our grandson's first birthday and maybe I can catch up with you at that time

In God's love and sympathy,
Barb and Mel Pearson
