Juanita Demory Moler, 88, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at Grace Health and Rehab Center of Green County in Stanardsville, VA. She was the widow of Charles G. Moler who passed away April 21, 1994. They were married for 45 years.
Born March 15, 1929 in Shepherdstown, WV, She was the daughter of the late Walter M. Demory and Irene M. Demory, and is survived by 2 of her 8 siblings, Dale Demory of WV, and Rebecca Prather of FL. She graduated from Shepherdstown High School.
She is survived by 3 of her 4 Children, Charmayne Moler Clark and husband, Hylton of Cross Junction, VA, Lisa Moler Robey and husband Wesley of Kitty Hawk, NC. Tina Moler Grove and husband Alan of Elkton, VA. She was preceded in death by her son J. Jeffery C. Moler, and is survived by his wife Becky Jones Moler of Winchester. Six Grand Children, Charles Griffith Moler of Winchester, and Kyle Armstrong Moler and wife Casey of Richmond, VA; Jeremy Ross Denson, his children, Evan and Oliva of Winchester, Jason Daniel Denson and wife Amy their son James of Kitty Hawk, NC; Valerie Marie Robey and Victoria Lynn Robey of Kitty Hawk, NC. Three Great Grand children listed above.
In her 20’s Juanita began her working career at J.C. Penney in Charlestown WV. Later in life she was a bus driver and trainer for Winchester City Schools. She was a 4-H’er in Shepherdstown, WV, and 4-H Leader in Frederick Co. VA where all 4 of her children were in 4-H. She taught Sunday school and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winchester.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. David Burrough officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Outreach Fund, 550 Buck Mt Rd Earlysville VA 22936 or to Frederick County 4-H Leader’s Association, 107 N. Kent Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
