Obituary for Evelyn Louise Dimon
Evelyn Louise Dimon, 74, of Middletown, VA passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was born December 25, 1942 in Front Royal, VA the daughter of the late Wesley Alvin and Florence Palmer Smith. She was a domestic engineer of her own home.
Evelyn married Sheridan “Pete” Delane Dimon, Sr., June 1, 1959 in Strasburg, VA.
She is survived by her son, Sheridan Dimon, Jr and his wife Donna of Covington, VA ; two daughters, Stephanie Eshelman of Strasburg, VA and Sherry Dimon of Middletown; brother, Earl Smith of Toms Brook; three grandsons, two granddaughters; four great grandsons , one great granddaughter and one great grandson on the way.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, Howard Smith, and Alvin “Bud” Smith of Strasburg and Sonny Palmer of Timberville, VA and two sisters, Joyce Keller of Oklahoma and Frances Reedy of Front Royal.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Evelyn Dimon may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
Private services will be held at a later date.
