Obituary for Maria Helen Balling
Maria H. Balling, 89, of Winchester, died Friday, September 1, 2017 in Fairfax, VA.
Mrs. Balling was born on May 8, 1928 in Marburg Germany. She was married to Willi A. Balling. They immigrated to Canada in 1951 and to the US in 1962 and became US Citizens.
She enjoyed animals, knitting and was an outstanding cook.
She is survived by her son, Michael and her two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
