Brigette Eileen  Foltz
Brigette Eileen Foltz passed away quietly and comfortably at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Sunday, November 26, 2017, after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. She was born in Marceline, MO (the boyhood home of Walt Disney). She married Owen T. Foltz III (Rusty) of Winchester, VA, August 4, 2002 in Columbia, MO. She received her BS in education from St Cloud State, St Cloud, MN and her Masters in Library Science from Longwood College in Farmington VA. She was employed as a librarian with Warren County Public Schools and Hilda J. Barbour Elementary School. Brigette loved cats, horticulture and, most especially, being at the beach and ocean with her sisters in Ana Maria Island, Florida.
Brigette was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Burch, her father, George Burch, her older sisters Becky Burch and Beth Meier as well as her youngest brother, Robin Burch. She is survived by her husband Owen T. Foltz III (Rusty), sisters – Bonnie Pollard, Barbara Brewer, Brenda Fincham, Belinda Passig, Betsy Minich and Bettina Epperson….as well as her brothers Robert Burch and Rodney Burch.
She requested there be no visitation or funeral services. She will be cremated with the services of Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, VA. You may send condolences to 196 Buckhorn Lane, Winchester, VA 22602 in care of Rusty Foltz – her husband.
