The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fenton Babcock can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: The colleagues, friends, and admirers from the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO) mourn Fenton’s passing. A dedicated, meticulous intelligence analyst, Fenton crafted analyses much as he carefully did his stone walls or plotted tacks across a bay. An optimist and leader whose enthusiasms led many, under his leadership, to achieve more than they ever expected.
He served his nation at CIA and through his National Leadership Forum global security conferences. He also encouraged the younger generation through awards for best article on a national security theme.
He had an ageless playfulness and a poets view of the wonders of life which sustained him through many losses - of loved ones and his vision.
