Obituary for Miles M. Hoover

Miles Madeira Hoover, Jr, 88, of Ashburn, Virginia, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at Heritage Hall in Loudoun County, VA.
He was born March 19, 1929, in Reading, PA, the son of Miles Madeira Hoover, Sr. and the former Naomi Gromis Reis. Mr. Hoover graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Business Administration and earned his MS of Computer Science from American University. He spent 25 years in the U.S. Marine Corp, retiring as a Colonel.
Mr. Hoover owned a real estate firm, Sherlock Homes, in Vienna, VA, for 21 years.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jill (Hott) Breslin Hoover, of Ashburn, formerly of Winchester, two children from a previous marriage, a brother, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
