Obituary for Lorraine Amy Stotler
Lorraine Amy Stotler, 95, of Berryville, VA, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Rose Hill Health and Rehab.
Lorraine was born, September 26, 1922 in Duluth, MN; the daughter of the late James and Cherrie Braden Anderson. During WWII she worked at Boeing Air Craft in Seattle, Washington. After the war she settled into the role of wife and mother; she made that her lifelong love.
She married Fhanuiel Luther Stotler, October 6, 1944 in Abilene, TX. He preceded her in death June, 1984.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Lee Stotler and his wife Laura of Lakeland, FL and Steven Eric Stotler and his wife Betty of Capon Bridge, WV; daughter in law, Janis Stotler of Queensbury, NY; grandchildren, Joelle Stotler, Laurie King and her husband Brian, Erika Pope and her husband Richie, David Stotler and Kelly Monroe and her husband Adam; six great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her son, David Richard Stotler; brothers, Paul, William, Orville and Ray and her sisters, Elizabeth and June.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 16, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Menefee and Pastor Barry Burkholder officiating. Burial will be private.
