I had the pleasure of being Bill's neighbor for more than twelve years. Our yard backed to his and I will always have wonderful memories of seeing Bill sitting on his back porch watching the deer and squirrels. He would always throw up his hand and wave and we shared many stories over the years. I felt like Bill was always watching out for us, keeping an eye on our property and pups. I always looked forward to spring each year because I knew Bill would soon be out on his riding lawn mower, in his favorite straw hat. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a neighbor like Bill. He certainly made my life better and I will miss seeing him. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
