Barbara Jean Loy, 69, of Winchester, Virginia, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her residence.
She was born February 11, 1949 in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Eugene Edward and Bessie Katheryn Hottle. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Clearbrook, VA.
Barbara married Robert Franklin Loy, December 28, 1984 in Winchester, VA.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two children, Tara Lyn Woolever (Travis Wayne) of Stephens City, VA and Michael Scott Snapp (Allyson Olivia), of Berryville, VA, and four granddaughters, Madilyn Jean Woolever, Emily Jean Woolever, Lauren Olivia Snapp, and Lindsey Mae Snapp, and a brother, Allen Lee Hottle.
Barbara is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Catherine Armel.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Jones Funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Smith officiating.
