Elizabeth Kline “Libby”Marshall, 89, of Winchester, died Friday, January 6, 2016.
Mrs. Marshall was born June 3, 1927 in Mineral County, WV; the daughter of the late John H. Kline and Mary Lease Kline. She worked as a typesetter for 14 years with Harris Intertype and retired from VDO after 17 ½ years. She was a member of Winchester Amputee Support Group, Amputee Coalition of America and the Northend Citizens Group.
She married Archie L. Marshall on August 1, 1959 in Hagerstown, MD. Mr. Marshall preceded her in death on June 4, 2001.
She is survived by her children, Ronald “Gene” Kuykendall of Stephens City and Nancy “Jo” M. Peck of Winchester; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Hilda K. Hawkins, Sylvia J. Kline and Myrtle K. Petty and her brothers, Ernest C. Kline, Willis C. Kline and Joseph F. Kline.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Evg. James McDaniel officiating. Burial will be private.
