Obituary

Theodore Angel Gillam was called home with the Lord early Friday morning, April 24, 2020. Theodore, also known as Ted, was born in Alexandria, VA on April 16, 1922.

He is survived by his mother and father, Leonor and William Gillam and two brothers, Chris and Steve Gillam, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Theodore was a kind, gentle, free soul who loved animals, games, people, and sports. Ted hardly missed a 'Skins game or passed up a good joke.

Ted served our country for 7 years in the US Navy from July 1, 1992 to October 1, 1999. He then spent 12 years at the Handy Dandy Market where he was well known by the community. Ted was a dedicated hard working employee, as well as a caring and loving friend. He was tremendously loved and enjoyed by many and will be greatly missed.

Rest in Paradise!
