Condolence: Dear Mrs. Waters & family,
My sister, Linda, called to tell me about Trooper Waters' passing. I am so sorry for your loss. My Daddy, Percy Click, always enjoyed joking with Trooper Waters. They both had a great sense of humor as well as a great sense of honesty and fair play. As a child, I remember Trooper Waters as he joked with us kids and he always pulled my pigtails!! He was a great man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him as well as the community.

Love, Janie Click Wetzel

Condolence: My Mom informed me yesterday of Trooper Water's passing. My condolences goes out to his Family. I will never forget Trooper Waters, he was my next door neighbor on Bellview Avenue when i was a kid. I always felt safe with him next door. I told Mom today that i will never forget that Susan taught me how to tie my shoes, and she also taught me how to read. Trooper Waters was a very respectable man, and i will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Family.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy and prayers to the Waters family. Trooper Waters was a good friend to my Dad, Percy Click. They had lots of "adventures". Growing up, the Click girls nicknamed him Chester as he frequently immitated Chester on Gunsmoke. He was a wonderful person and I am sure will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: It was a real pleasure of mine to provide dental services for L.W. and his family for the better part of thirty years. Now that I am retired from practice I look back fondly at all the special people I had the pleasure to serve. L.W. was one of the finest people to have ever walked in my door and it was a true honor and privilege to know him and his wonderful family. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences go out to all his family and friends.

Condolence: Trooper Waters is one of those men that you were glad you met.
While he was w/the Virginia State Police and I was w/ the Frederick County Sheriffs Office, I've seen him write a traffic violator a summons, and they would leave from the smiling or laughing.
When you broke the law, he would take his time to talk to you, not merely write the ticket and move on.
He could step on you toes without ruining your shine.
It's been a honor to have known him.
This man will be missed.
